The opposition INDIA coalition, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, intends to put an end to Sanatana Dharma and drag the nation back into slavery for a thousand years.

The Prime Minister responded to the controversy surrounding DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin's comments on Sanatana Dharma for the first time in public on Thursday at a rally in the heavily contested state of Madhya Pradesh.

"They just convened a conference in Mumbai, where I believe they decided on the policy and strategy for managing the 'ghamandiya' coalition. They have also chosen a covert goal. The plan is to subvert Indian culture. They have made the decision to undermine Indian religious beliefs and eradicate the ideas, values, and the PM stated in Hindi. "Traditions that have unified the country for thousands of years.

He remarked, "The 'ghamandiya' alliance has committed to finish the Sanatana culture and traditions that inspired Devi Ahilyabai Holkar,' drawing a connection between India's heroes and the Sanatana culture. The Sanatana strength allowed Lakshmibai, the Rani of Jhansi, to stand up to the British and declare that she would not cede Jhansi.

According to PM Modi, Sanatana Dharma was crucial to Mahatma Gandhi's way of life. "All his life, Lord Ram served as his inspiration. Hey Ram was his final words, he continued.

The Prime Minister claimed that Sanatana also served as an inspiration for Swami Vivekanand and Lokmanya Tilak, and that it was this culture that led freedom warriors who were hanged by the British to declare their desire to once more be born "in the lap of Bharat Ma."

"They will intensify their attacks on us in the days to come. Each and every Sanatani, as well as everyone who loves our nation and its people, must exercise caution. They intend to complete Sanatana and bring about 1,000 more years of servitude in the nation. But we must work together to counter such influences. We must ensure that their strategy fails by leveraging the might of our group, he stated.

Days before to the Prime Minister's comments, DMK leader and Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin spoke of "eradicating" Sanatana Dharma. He had compared Sanatana Dharma to ailments like dengue and malaria while discussing variations in caste.

The BJP has attacked both the Opposition alliance and the individual parties that make up it using the remarks. While MK Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, and Udhayanidhi Stalin have supported Udhayanidhi Stalin in sticking by his comments, other allies like the Congress, AAP, and Trinamool Congress have disavowed it.

In Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi lay the cornerstone for many projects totaling more than 50,000 crore rupees, including a petrochemical complex at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited's Bina Refinery. He will also go to Chhattisgarh, which is awaiting elections.
